Great book ends. They are super sturdy as well as a delight to look at. These book ends will hold up just about any size or weight books. Well worth the money.

The bookends make a nice addition to my DVD collection. My DVDs stand on a shelf that hangs over my TV and I needed something to keep them falling. I've received numerous compliments on the bookends. They're the perfect weight and are very sleek. It's also a great size to match up against the size of a DVD case.

This is an hilarious compilation of old 20's and 30's songs written about men BY men. Supposedly you could not lawfully change the gender in songs to suit the crooner. So what you have is a very nice list of songs with a gay twist. Joe Haymes has an especially good time when he tells the horn soloist, "OH YOU CAN REALLY BLOW THAT THING!". Harold Lom tells you he's got his man... who could ask for anything more?, Cliff Edwards ask, "why don'tcha come up and see me sometime hummm?" and the lead singer of the Clevelanders sounds a trifle TOO serious when he sings of his "hope chest" which has his bridle gown hidden away! The re-recorded quality is superb and hopefully this CD will become available again. Possibly with a part 2?

These guys were all considered "hotties" of thier time, and men really knew how to sing bacj than, in massculine crooning voices. These guys really get to me especially Russ Columbo! The entire cd is great, and it's important historicly. A great 2 cd set!

I keep a copy of this cd at all of my Texas beach houses, i love this cd and I love lovers(everybody loves a lover...), Give this cd and a bottle of wine to any jazz lover(or any lover for taht matter, hahahahaha!!!). This is simply the best two cd set in my collection of over 5000 jazz, blues and swing cd's. Every track is a gem, particularky the Red McKenzie tracks. I was disappointed with this item because one of the four pack of nail polish was leaking and I had to throw it out. I did give the rest of it as a gift, because I had ordered it as a gift and the receipient liked the polish.

We gave these to my 12- yr old daughter for Christmas. She LOVES them. She loves to paint her nails and make all sorts of designs. Fun to have the entire set!

The skin was easily applied with no air-bubbles or errors and the tips online were very useful. It lined up perfectly and the material allows for reapplication if you need to peel it up and retry. I would of liked to purchase a skin to match the rest of the Xbox, but the faceplate looks good by itself.

The skin itself looks great. It goes and comes off very easily. It just takes some time to get the skin on perfect, but don't worry if you mess up you can just take it off and re-adjust it. I also recommend getting the whole set for the whole 360 because it looks kind of awkward with just the white plastic on the sides. Also see my Customer Pictures®.

The dress is beautiful!! I wore it for a wedding I was in in Jamaica. It does run a little small, I wear a 10 usually and ordered a size XL based on reviews and it fit perfectly.

I ordered this dress for a vacation and was so excited that it had such a variety of sizes. The Pacific Plex? website said they only went to a size 3X but Amazon stated it went to 5 so I took a chance. I am a 2X and that dress is not even a 3X let alone a 5X. The dress did have tag stating it was infact a 5X but my size 16 friend tried it on and it barely fit her. Dissapointed.

This is a beautiful dress, and fits everywhere else beautifully other than the bust. This dress flows nicely and lays well to hide a tummy and make the backside look great too.

The dress is not according to sizing chart, If you are top heavy do not buy it. also material is not so good.

I ordered this dress because I am not one for mall shopping and I needed a summery dress in the middle of fall to wear to my friends wedding in the islands. I ordered this hoping it would fit and I would avoid the mall madness. Not only did it fit perfectly (just go by the size guide - its accurate)but it was crazy flattering. I got many comments on it. And it was very comfortable, yet stylish. It worked great for wearing to a wedding but I have worn in many times since just because its comfortable and so classy.

I bought this for myself in the Golden Camel. I love love love the quality. The color is just as it appeared in the photo. Great width and length (I'm 5'8). The feel is so soft. Keeping in mind that this is only a skin (like a decal or sticker), it's pretty darn cool. It can be somewhat easily removed without any residue or damage to your faceplate. Really looks great if you have an Elite system. Application isn't too difficult. After shipping it comes out to be about $14-15. You'll need to cover up your faceplate with this. The power LEDs don't show through the skin very well, so sometimes it's hard to tell if your system is on while your television is off. Honestly it makes the 360 look great. It's originally manufactured by DecalGirl.com, so you can head over to their site for an entire listing of products (and buy it firsthand).

Very finely made and looks great. The problem for me is that the cover of the teapot wobbling big time, contacted Amazon and they quickly sent me a replacement set. I think Amazon service is one of the best around.

I've always wanted something - anything - in this pattern and the very affordable price for this 3-piece set enabled me to finally get my wish. My only regret is that it is no longer made in England. The set is made in Indonesia, is very beautiful, and it has the nice look and feel of fine porcelain. The packaging within its original box was excellent, even including a mesh protector over the spout of the teapot. However, for shipping, the original box was placed inside another larger box with only crumpled paper as a buffer. I think styrofoam in some form would have been superior, especially for a product of this caliber. I could feel the original box sliding in the larger box. All in all, the teapot, creamer and sugar is fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ordering this set to anyone who wants one.

I was pleased with the 3 Piece Tea Set made in China. The design (the old country roses) is beautiful and the china looks sturdy (in a delicate kind of way). Again, the tea cup and saucer ordered at the same time and shipped separately made in Indonesia appears of much inferior quality. Again the 3 Piece Tea Set made in China is just gorgeous. I am very pleased. It will look absolutely elegant on my antique Tea Cart. Again my question is, when you order the Royal Albert Old Country Roses Dinnerware, how do you know ahead of time if it was manufactured in China or Indonesia???

As I've said in a previous post, I like this set. I received it as a gift and I like it very much. I would have expected it to be a 'finer' china but it is very nice the way it is for it's price. It's nice but it's not so thin you'd be afraid to use it. That's what I like most about the set I have, I will use it to an extent because it is not as thin as if it was over $500. I agree with other reviews, in a world where restaurants are the norm, it's nice to own your own fine china and not be afraid to use it. I plan on adding to my new collection. For sixty dollars per place setting you expect quality. I think I got what I expected. I found no flaws, was impressed by the quality of the gold and other 'old country roses' design features, and feel I've risen to a new level of civility! A high quality place setting will do that for you. These are well made in indonesia, not england. Better made than my indonesian teak lawn furniture, which isn't too shoddy itself regarding quality. You must feel you need this Royal Albert place setting, as well as the large selection of additional table pieces, or it won't mean anything to you. The pleasure you get from it is internal, in your own mind. It helps you to feel thoroughly middle class, not to put too fine a point on it. And what's wrong with that? With all the dumbing down of culture as this century gets rolling toward that 'restaurant at the end of the universe,' why should we deny ourselves the pleasure of owning, maybe even using, this fine china. Now that you have decided to get it, you need a china server! See my 'all my reviews' section for a review of an antique teak piece for an astonishing price. Next, start thinking about all the other pieces, gravy boats etc., you will want to accumulate over the years to complete your set. Don't take out a second (or third) mortgage on the house to do it though! Recommended.

This stuff smells great and this is an excellent price for it. It arrived in a couple of days with free delivery and was well packaged. What more could you ask?

My husband has been using this for 37 years since our honeymoon in Jamaica. It is no longer a good product. It is simply alchohol and a little scent. There is no bay leaf in the bottle. Don't waste your money. They have reduced this product to nothing when it was the most fabulous after shave ever before.

Last week I bought a bottle of "Royall Bay Rhum" from my normal supplier. I don't go through a bottle but every few years. Evidently, it has been near six years since my last purchase, because the Bermuda people sold out to a USA concern six years ago, and now the marque is formulated in the USA. This recent bottle is H2O and alcohol with a fraction of the oils of the Bermuda product. I had an e-mail conversation about my and my wife's impressions. The Bermuda Royall contact stated that the ingredients are the same, but the US Customs somehow regulates how much of the key oils can be used in the US product. My wife used to love this. She noticed immediately that the new bottle has only a little of the impact of the fragrance and no depth. I have a bit of the old product, and she can tell the difference right away. So, about $38 for a 4 oz. bottle for nothing. I recommend not buying this product. You will find it now unsatisfying compared to what you bought several years ago. Now I need to try to find another Bay Rum(Rhum) product that is satisfying to my wife and me.

I first tried Royall Bay Rhum about 40 years ago when I bought a bottle in the USVI. I really enjoyed its understated scent which I guess one could call "manly". Perhaps it's just my memory, but I seem to recall the scent being quite a bit stronger and certainly a lot longer lasting. I still like the scent but find myself using it a lot more liberally than I do most colognes. By the way, I consider this to be more of an after shave than a cologne. While it's not the most expensive cologne/after shave I've ever used, I think that it's expensive enough that it should be longer lasting or at least a lot stronger. As it is, I think that it's been cut with a lot of alcohol to stretch the more expensive ingredients. To put it bluntly, I find this product overpriced. I'll probably use Bay Rhum again but it will not be Royall.

My husband has used this very expensive product for years. This bottle has almost no scent. It smells like pure alcohol. This has never happened when I ordered this product from a small store. $50 literally down the drain!

A useful catalogue for the collector of Royal Doulton Figurines.

The book is very good and has photos of all but the latest figurines. The prices in the book would have to be considered "full retail". I found many figurines for sale in mint condition for 1/2 the book price or less. It is well organized with easy indexing by name or number.

This volume is enormously helpful in identifying & valuing Royal Doulton Figurines. Sorted by series (e.g. HN or M) & series # (4-digit number following series) it is very easy to use! Also it has cross-references which are very helpful when you have a name/title instead of the series #. This book would have gotten a 5-star rating from me if it did not have missing HN series #'s, most of which correspond to animal figurines. Since I am interested in a FEW animals, it would have been nice to have them all in one volume! (I don't really want to buy ANOTHER reference just for the few animals I'm interested in!) Also, if you are a Bunnykins collector, that info is also missing from this volume. (I'm not, so it wasn't a problem for me.)

Antique Trader Royal Doulton Price Guide I collect Royal Doulton items and had hoped this book would be up to date, especially on their Bunnykins Series, animals, and figurines. However, most of what I look up isn't in this price guide. It is nicely illustrated. Maybe useful for beginners, but I was looking for a far more detailed price guide.

It is a great resource for animals, Bunnykins, Character Jugs, Flambe, Burslem, Lambert Art wares and more! To any Royal Doulton collectors, I recommend BOTH of these volumes! We purchased 4 planters as Christmas gifts and they arrived very quickly. The white planter is lightweight plastic and is easily snapped together. Easy to store away in off season. When 2 of them were snapped together we noticed a crack in one. When we tried to contact the seller, they did not respond back to us so we have been unable to resolve the issue. Because we have heard nothing from Fun Shipped Fast we decided to contact our credit card company. We are still waiting to hear from someone...........

I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Chippendale planter. It was a little (not much) of a challenge to assemble but went together very nicely. I bought hanging baskets of New Guinea Impatiens and the 10 inch pot fits into the planter on top of a brick or block of wood. This elevates it to a height that the flowers bloom up and out and against the bright white planter and they are beautiful. I would buy again.

I picked this up knowing nothing about Load Records. I had previewed one of the tracks and figured that anything sounding that crazy probably looked pretty crazy too. I was right. The music and the videos on this compilation range from insane to just cracked, anarchistically messy to just lazy, and trippy to more mundanely odd. The quality can be uneven, yeah, but there is more enthusiasm than money in this and that makes it all feel good anyway. There is a good range of styles that will expand what you associate with noise music, from dog-mounted cameras to paranoic synchronized cartoons. The last video is one of the trippiest pieces of op-art I've ever seen. If there is a flaw it is that some videos are better than others, and a bad video will make a song seem less interesting, but the audio cd (with the same tracks) makes up for that. If you were actually looking for this, go for it, you'll find something to enjoy.

Crazy. Featuring the most insane animation you've ever seen with a wonderful soundtrack (that comes with the DVD) of some of the best noise punk from the likes of Lightning Bolt, Wives, and the legendary Pink & Brown. It gets better and better as you go through it (with the exception of one set which wasn't as good as the previous but still damn good) and climaxes with the biggest mind f*** you've never experienced. If you liked the animation of Paper Rad on The Power Of Salad then you need this. So, if you're looking for a good time and don't mind a pounding head ache, buy this now. P.S. For extra painful goodness, watch with the lights off!!

This movie rules! Allright - enough blind enthusiasm, but this movie makes me feel that way. First off, the band, Lightning Bolt, proves everything "the powers that be" say is wrong because they don't have major label aspirations, their equipment is pieced together and repaired themselves, and they live in providence, rhode island, but they rock harder, play faster, and generally move an audience more than any studio produced band of the week any day! And there's only two of them! Now on to the movie - it's totally funny, fast, and captures some moments and feelings i've never felt watching a movie before. The camerawork and editing blew me away, and the sweet moments they captured and integrated with the incredible ROCK blew my mind. My only problem with this movie is that there isn't more! I guess my blind enthusiasm can't be held in... and i don't care!! Share this movie with friends!!

It's crazy - wild shows, rad rad rad music, funny stuff. The whole movie is great - but I LOVED the last 20 minutes of mind melting apocalyptic triumphant ROCK! The editing built to be as wild as the drumming and I couldn't turn away. I saw the band live last summer and they are a total mystery living in providence, ri, and I've never seen them interviewed until now. The filmmakers Glantz and Noe I never heard of before but do an amazing job of giving a feel for the band and the touring life, while maintaining the sweet mystery that makes LB so cool. The drummer may be deaf soon, I heard, so hang onto this awesome DVD!The cartoons are really good too. They are super weird but make me smile so I like 'em!

I'm a big Chippendales fan, and this movie really captures some of the spirit of Chippendales LA in the 80s. The guys are awesome. Fitness model Johnathan Aubrey is spot-on for the lead. JP Pitoc (ironically, the go-go boy from "Trick") is good too. If you know the true story of the Chippendales guys breaking off to form "Adonis", you can follow this movie pretty well (they use the name "Skin Deep" in the movie). A lot of names are changed, but the commentary track is sometimes very detailed, mentioning the names of Chippendales greats like Michael Rapp. I didn't really care for the portrayal of the Colón hit man character. Kind of cheesy, but worth seeing if you're a fan. If you're just looking to see strippers, buy the Chippendales DVD.

The original Chippendale dancers absolutely made history, and Just Can't Get Enough tells us the story in one of the sexiest, more historically factual, and well-made movies about the time. It is so much fun to watch that you will a)wish you were part of the Chippendale team, and b)want to go out and dance. Think Boogie Nights, Saturday Night Fever, and Studio 54, only less Hollywood, more the true story of a particular place, and a particular group of dancers -- one that would most certainly go down in history. Following the original gang that started the club, and the name Chippendale, the movie shows us what happened from the beginning, when nobody knew what they were doing, and everyone just had a dream....a dream to make a lot of money using their bodies. It was really quite simple. We see how this plan affected the dancers' personal lives, how the money, and the fame, started to take over their lives. Next we go through the years when the club was thriving, when the money was rolling in, and the sex and drugs were at everyone's disposal. Then, when gay men wanted to come through the doors to drool over the sexy pecs and big you-know-whats, things started to go down hill. Corruption took over, people ordered other people killed, and eventually, the Chippendales were essentially murdered to the ground. The Chippendale dancers are a part of history -- a part of sex work history, of gay history, of LA history....of history. Just Can't Get Enough does a wonderful job telling their story. The acting is great, the story is historically correct, the message very powerful. Get this movie and learn how, for the Chippendale dancers, they just couldn't get enough. (And it's definitely sexy enough that you won't be able to get enough either!)

For the hot guys only.Sadly the film doesn't stand up to much critical scrutiny. The acting is uneven with some performances being good and others laughable. The script is also uneven, laden with cliches. The costuming and make-up is far worse. I know that this is a period piece set in the early 80's, but the wigs look atrocious -- exactly how they shouldn't -- like wigs!Yeah, the guys are hot enough and there is even some (but not enough) full frontal male nudity, so it might be worth a second look, but overall the production qualities leave much to be desired.

Given the subject matter, you expect this independent film by director/writer David Payne to be full of naked bodies gyrating to the beat of club music--certainly not a serious movie with plenty of bite. But JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH scores in both directions, and in spite of the abundance of skin on display it is the story rather than the bodies that linger in mind after the movie ends.As seen through the eyes of club worker Chad (Johnathan Abue, playing a role loosely based on real-life Dan Peterson), JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH is surprisingly dark and surprisingly factual. Steve Banerjee (Shelley Malil) is just another club owner until he stumbles into the idea of male strippers playing to a women-only audience, and the ringing cash register attracts ambitious and obnoxious choreographer Nick Denoia (Peter Nevargic). Once Denoia gets wise to Banerjee's shady dealings he quickly blackmails the club owner into signing away the touring rights to the show. But when it comes to underhanded manipulations, Banerjee proves Denoia's equal and then some: the sex, drugs, and rock and roll atmosphere of the club quickly gives way to a headlong rush into murder, and the ride is straight down all the way.Payne's script isn't as tight as it might be, and it sometimes goes off on tangents that add little to the overall impact of the film, but the actors are first rate all the way and increasingly convoluted nature of the conspiracies and counter-conspiracies make for a fascinating ride. And to up the ante, Payne endows the entire film with an unexpectedly dark humor and sense of irony that rings true even in the movie's weaker moments.Yes, there are plenty of naked bodies (both male and female) on display, but ultimately JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH is less about sex than it is about an extremely unsavory and seldom acknowledged side of the American dream, a drive for success that flattens every moral obstacle it meets. In one particularly memorable scene, Banerjee snarls that Joe Kennedy built his fortune on illegal bootleg liquor and even sitting President Reagan lied to congress to finance a secret war; bending the law is the American way. There's something charming about this movie. It's scrappy, rough around the edges, and fun. I wasn't sure what to think with the lame o box, but it's full of surprises. For one, the music. Who knew this movie was packed with wall to wall 80s gems like Wall of Vodoo and Flock of Seagulls? And also, the humor. You couldn't tell by the cover, but this is a really funny story, especially if you appreciate odd human behavior. The marketing guys should be slapped silly, because I passed by the movie a dozen times before finally deciding to purchase it, and I'm glad I did.

I first saw this video when I was 15. I loved it and later bought it when I got older. My favorite scenes were the motorcycle scene, the beach scene, and the construction worker scene. The guy on the motorcycle really is HOTTTT!!! I love to watch guys strip their clothes off and I think this is one of the best made male stripper movies I have ever seen. I would love to see this on DVD or as a digital download. I was disappointed that none of the other Chippendale videos were as good as this one.

The is a well done video taping of a a girls night out at the Chippendale nightclub hosted by Jordan, the chippendale MC who does a great job entertaining the viewers with his enthusiastic energy! The Chippendale men do 'on-site' and pre-taped 'off site' music videos with choreographed dances done to (surprisingly great!) original music. The featured men are gorgeous and magnetic and show that they obviously LOVE what they are doing. If you see live Chippendale shows nowadays, their enthusiasm ends at "mundane routine" whereas THIS video shows these guys at the height of their popularity and fame and show the ideal Chippendale fantasy!

This chair was easy to assemble, looks great, and was a better price than anywhere else I could find. I will agree with other comments that the chair is more a yellowy cream than a white. That works for our room, but its a good detail to know. So far we love it.

The box was really beat up when it arrived, so I was worried about damage to the chair. However, the pieces inside were very carefully wrapped and in perfect shape. Found the instructions and putting together very easy. Solid, nice chair for the price. Only complaint is I was hoping for pure white, and it is more a cream/yellowy white color.

I almost bought a chair like this from Pottery Barn for nearly $400. I am very impressed with the quality of the chair and would recommend it to anyone who wants to save money.

I have bought dozens of replacement seats for my Breuer Chairs over the years and these were clearly an inferior product. They were much thinner than the normal ones and the workmanship was shoddy. I returned them for a refund and am still waiting. Don't be fooled. I recommend you purchase from Seats and Stools, who sold me a proper one.

It was a perfect replacement for my worn out seats. I was able to recycle my old chairs into very usable chairs again, since the rest of the chairs were in good shape.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this product, clearly not well manufactured. Furthermore, the design did not match my original seat. The product came from the The Antique Restoration Center.

I've purchased replacement Breuer chair seats in the past, and while none of them exactly match the original seat, they have all been of nearly comparable quality. Not quite in this case (a replacement seat manufactured in China). Although it fits just fine and is similar in color, upon close inspection it clearly lacks the level of craftmanship and care I've come to expect in this product. You can easily see the roughness in the edging and seams, showing it was hastily fitted together without the normal attention to finishing and detail. I installed it anyway, since its not obvious from a distance and by the time you get close enough to notice, you're already sitting down. Still, it's disappointing to see the standards slipping this obviously.

My 4 breuer seats prolonged the chairs for another few years. The products were delivered and installed in 3 days. Thanks for your prompt and courteous service.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter to use as a night stand. She absolutely loves it! It is a good size, and she can't stop thinking of ideas on how to decorate it.

I bought this after reading the other review here. I agree, it is a very nice table, and so easy to put together, especially since it does not involve installing the drawer. I notoriously have trouble assembling furniture, but even so, this took maybe 5 or 10 minutes, tops. (I have many strengths but furniture assembly is not one of them :). It's fairly solid, and the little shelf at the bottom gives it added stability. I got the Antique Black, and the color and style will probably work for many decorating schemes. Definitely a bargain!

It's a nice little table for the entry hall. Putting it together was easy - the instructions are easy to understand drawings. All the screws and bolts were in the box, and easily identifiable. It's sturdy and looks just like the picture. The little drawer could be a little bigger, but otherwise I'm very satisfied.

Excellent photograghaphy. Excellent selection of chairs being showcased. If you enjoy furniture as art you will certainly enjoy this book. My personal interest is comfortable chairs with an artistic twist. I'll probably use this book as a jumping off point for chair designs I'll build for different needs. This delightful book is a quick read full of history, wonderful photographs and personal stories sprinkled in which moves the reader through a spectrum of emotions. Grinning, getting misty-eyed and pausing to remember Adirondack chairs from my past were all part of the ride for me. There's even a chapter on the 'updated' Adirondack chair which showcases some pretty creative chairs. What a kick!!

Like the other reviewers I really love these and I like the fact that they're not really "antiqued" per the description. However, I did have some difficulty assembling them. I suggest not tightening the screws entirely until both legs are on the base. I wish I could post a picture of them at my bar! And kudos to Target for 2 day delivery!

I ordered these barstools on a Monday and they arrived by Friday. I am am very pleased with the barstools. They look very expensive and as if they were purchased from an upscale store. The assembly was easy and only took me 20 minutes. The only drawback is that they didn't come very distressed at all, which didn't bother me. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I love this table - it's exactly the right size I needed, looks terrific, well-made, etc. Price was right and shipping a breeze. The only disappointment I have had so far is that I've already gotten a couple of scratches on the table top. That may have been because of a friend leaving stuff on the table top - but I would have liked a dining table to be a little more durable than that.

This is a nice table for the money. The wood is very solid. The color is a dark rich stain. Darker than pictured. The drawer is a pretty nice size. I checked a couple other websites that offered the table and Amazon had the lowest price. This table was also very easy to put together.

I ordered this table on 1 Dec and received it today(3 Dec). What a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting a lot since the table was so inexpensive. It looks very nice and did not take long to put it together. The finish is very nice and its the perfect size for my family room.

Beautiful table and fine quality for the price. Only disappointment was there were no attached paper assembly instructions. Fortunately I found it on the internet and was able to print it, but that was an inconvenience.

This is a really nice looking coffee table, especially for the price. Lower quality tables at Target cost more than this. It is durable, and takes all sorts of abuse well. My 3 year old has spilled many glasses of milk and water on this with no staining, colored on it with crayons and markers, and even got nail polish on it. It cleans up nice, and the bottom shelf is great for holding coloring books and extras, and for putting your feet on when you are sitting. The height is perfect, too. It's not too high to put your legs on, and it's not too low to make reaching for your drink uncomfortable. The drawer easily holds 3 or 4 remotes, slides, and closes nice. This table is well made. We've had this for a year, and there is some wear and tear on it, though. It does mark and dent somewhat, but you should expect that with wood. However, considering how much use and abuse this table gets, it is holding up really, really well. It is strong, sturdy, and very easy to set up. It looks twice as expensive as it really is. Excellent product for the money.

I paid a bit over $100 with shipping, and I find the quality to be really good and sturdy for the price. I didn't have any assembly issues, it took about five minutes to put together. It's perfect for a small space, especially because of the shape, and there were no flaws. And, it's all wood. The only thing I changed was the drawer pull, which needs to be done on most furniture anyway if you're particular about the look.

The package arrived on a rainy day and was placed outside our door with only a plastic bag covering the top of the product. By the time we got home later in the day the bottom of the packaging was soaked; it was ruined so making a return in the original packaging would have been impossible. As with the first table we received and returned the packaging was insufficient to prevent damage; this particular table had apparently been dropped; one corner is slightly damaged. The table itself is full of flaws and doesn't fit together correctly. One leg is slightly tilted. While the table has a nice appearance from a distance once you get close it's easy to see all of the flaws and poor craftmanship. Overall quality: D Packaging materials: F Overall finish: D Overall value: D We've tried twice now and both tables have been very poor; apparently there is very little if any quality control where the tables are manufactured in Thailand. We won't be buying any more furniture through Amazon.

We purchased this table with free shipping from Amazon because we live in Alaska where almost no one will ship or if they do, we have to pay at least double for shipping. This table has a nice dark wood finish and looks great in our entryway. The instructions were not the best, but with a little common sense, were not that necessary. The assembly of the legs to the table top is a little frustrating & tedious because you have to hand tighten the screws with the included hex key and the location of the holes/screws is such that you have to insert and remove the hex key many times. The finished product is nice, though, and I would buy it again!

Since we needed a table for a guest room, we did not want to spend alot of money. We found this table on Amazon for a great price. We were very surprised with the quality - solid wood and very sturdy - and it looks expensive. It was not hard to put together, though you do need two people. A great buy!

I ordered Visiondecor's banker's lamp with an antique base as a gift. I selected their lamp because of the excellent price and product's appearance. Regretfully the recipient did not want the antique brass base, but preferred polished brass. When I told Visiondecor of this problem, they didn't hesitate to give me a full refund, including no shipping charges. I wish I could have kept the lamp for myself. It's very attractive!

We bought this product for our 52 inch Tv and it fits perfectly. The style and size is perfect for our living space. It looks like a very spendy piece of furniture and friends are shocked when I tell them what I paid as ost of them paid $500-$700.00 for theirs, and not even as sleek. Hubby put it together in one morning and had no problems. Would reccomend.

Purchased this stand along with a Samsung 52LN750. Coincidentally, this stand matched perfectly with my current decor. It looks fantastic when put together properly, particle board or not. Very sturdy as well. I gave it four stars because of how generic the instructions are and because a couple of the pieces were a little roughed up. Luckily it kind of blended in with the natural "antique" look the stand possesses and there is no need to return anything. Additionally, it is extremely difficult to line up the cabinet doors evenly. We got them as even as possible, but they are still not level. Good thing is that it is only apparent up close, at TV viewing distance you cannot tell what-so-ever. Amazon gets 5 stars because of speedy shipment and the fact that the price was about $30 less than what it is at the time of me writing this review. I would definitely recommend this piece if you have the time and ability to put it together. I chose this over numerous similar pieces that were double, some almost triple, the price... solely because it just flat out looked better.

The directions were not the best. This is an OK item. Be careful removing the part number stickers or you'll rip off the surface coloring. The item does what it's supposed to do. Just remeber it's made of particle board.

After reading a number of reviews on Amazon and other sites, I felt that this piece of furniture was the best value available. By the way, I ordered this piece and paid for 1-day shipping, which was only $10 and it arrived in 1-day, all 113 lbs! A couple of things you should know before purchasing this item. First, it is 100% particle board, no real wood. Not necessarily a problem, but just so you know what you are getting. Second, check all pieces before assembling. I got about half-way through the 3 1/2 hour job (not sure how the one reviewer did it in 1 hour!) and realized that one of the pieces had cracked paint. Given the location of the piece and the lack of desire to return, I continued anyway. Some of the pieces don't line up as well as they should and you may need to force a few together. (Doors are tricky to line up perfectly) However, given the price I paid and the strength and appearance of the piece, I still feel it was a good purchase. I would recommend this piece, just not highly recommend.

Takes time and patience to assemble. It arrived well package and I didn't have any broken or lost parts. Its looks great! The perfect stand for the price.

I like it, except there was slight damage in the delivery. I was able to overcome it and still assemble the piece so you cannot see the damage. Also, the door (despite my several attempts to adjust) just doesn't meet up withe cabinet the way I'd like.

this cabinet takes a little while to assemble, but in the end is a very good-looking piece of furniture and is very sturdy. The assembly was a little cumbersome, but everything is very well labeled and all parts necessary are included (except a phillips screwdriver). One of my side trim pieces was broken right out of the box, but after making one call to the Bush customer service center, I was sent a replacement free of charge (arrived two days later). The cabinet is adequately sized, but there are a lot of home theater system receivers and dvd players that might have a tough time fitting in here- check dimensions first. My Denon receiver fits inside, but barely (the master volume knob almost hits the glass. Also, I had to cut a much bigger hole in the back panel to accommodate all my wires, but again, that's only a minor inconvenience. All things considered, a good auido stand for the money.

The product arrived, and took me about an hour to finally assemble. Problems: 1. The stand itself is a bit shaky, and can only take 50lbs of weight per shelf. My Onkyo 805 receiver is 61 lbs.. I placed it on the lowest level, and crossing my finger that it works 2. With the receiver inside, the door won't close.. (problem to many, but not to me because...) 3. The door was completely broken when it arrived. The frame separated from the glass. i had to buy glue and glue the two together myself. After 2 more hours of doing that, and fiddling with it, i gave up and threw the door away. Now i have an open cabinet, with the receiver sticking out. 4. Complicated to assemble. probably the most annoying assembly i've ever done with respect to furniture. Positives: 1. doesn't look too bad. without the door it's still useable. Sorry Bush.. the quality control is not acceptable.

If you collect this type of pottery, you will have to get this book sooner or later as it provides an outstanding reference to marks found on these items and so permits you to assess the age of the item. But the lack of any real advice, wisdom, guidance, explanations, etc. about the subject of collecting these pieces, knowing when marks are real or fake, and assessing the quality of the pieces is essentially nil. So you will have to learn pretty much everything you need to know from other sources. A real disappointment given that the authors are almost certainly know a lot more about the subject matter than they put into these books. M Pezim

This is a good resource book. It has it's limitations, but I use it almost daily. I look up alot of ceramics marks, and I find the large majority of them in this Kovels book. It is great if you are looking for a specific makers mark, or decoratoras mark. The limitation is that there is no way to comprehensively view all marks from one particular maker. If you have a few treasures that you want to accurately identify, then it is very good. Don't get me wrong, I haven't found every mark I look for. But I haven't found a Marks reference that I do. This book provides a good clean and easy format to locate the mark I need, and quickly. Also, if you are looking for back ground info on the company, this isn't the book for you. While the Kovel's do an excellent job of showing literal thousands of easy to find marks, thats all they show. All in all a highly recommended resource. Any serious ceramics collector, dealer, or dedicated flea market/yard saler should have a copy.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter and she has really enjoyed it's contents. Now she can see if the "Junk and/or Antiques" she has purchased has any real value!!

The only reason I gave this four stars intead of five is there was some amazing tile work and some I wondered "why they heck did they bother putting that in". I think they could have chosen a bit better on some of the pics but all in all it was an inspirational book.

As a ceramic artist and sculptor, I find the "500" series of books quite inspirational. I especially appreciate the wide variety of techniques used by the individual artists. I live in Australia which in some ways is quite isolated from the ceramic world at large. People in isolation tend to develop their own culture. This is especially true in ceramics. By showing contemporary work being done in other countries, Lark again in this publication, has given the artist food for thought. And the many full-colour photographs give an insite into the techniques being developed by others. From the book's title, I had expected to find page after page of ceramic wall tiles. But I was happily surprised to find that the book shows more or less flat (or relief) sculpture and is not limited to the sterotyped wall-only "tile" applications. I would recommend this book to artist who work in clay or any other 3D medium. It especially makes a good read when you are suffering "artists block". There are so many examples of different types of work here, that you are bound to go back to your workbench with a wealth of new ideas.

I am an all around arts and crafts person I thought I would find this interesting. It wasn't what I expected and I sent it back. It is a very large book with pages and pages of tiles...most I didn't like.

Great book - great price. Gave me lots of ideas for my own projects. I was able to create original works using similar ideas to those others had made.

I recently started a hummel collection. This book is a MUST have. Hummel collecting can be complicated and making sure that you are getting a good value is almost impossible without this book. I highly recommend it.

The book, as a resource guide, contains a wealth of information; it is a very useful, very informative reference guide. The binding, however, stinks. Within 1 day of using the book in a normal manner, the pages started to come out due to the inferior method of glue binding. They should have stuck to the spiral binding method.

This book made it extremely easy to reference, cross-reference and catalog my collection of Hummels. Although I realize that the market value of these figurines changes frequently, the book will still give me a starting point for years to come.

We have remained collectors of Hummel Figurines since 1971. Currently we have some 93 Hummel Figurines and 1971 thru 1982 Hummel Anniversary Plates. We like to keep up with the current values of these beautiful collectible pieces and have found the Robert L. Miller price guide to be full of great information and very thorough.
